Meet Marissia – Size 3x

What is one fashion piece you can’t live without?

I can’t live without A-line Dresses. They are very versatile and can be used for any occasion. They are so flattering for my body shape.

Who is your style icon?

Blake Lively is my style icon. Her style is both glam and comfortable. She also throws in a splash of vintage looks when she’s on the red carpet. Blake Lively just radiates effortlessness.

How would you best describe your style?

I strive to be more vintage-inspired when it comes to parties or big events. Since my job requires me to be in uniform, I choose more casual, relaxed looks for day-to-day.

Why do you love your curves?

I love my curves because it was my first step to reaching my goal of being more self-confident.

When shopping at Kiyonna, what occasions are you looking for?

Shopping at Kiyonna is perfect for me when I am on the hunt for a formal dress for a special occasion. I also shop for casual tops here because they are so comfortable and have plenty of arm coverage.

I chose the Luna Lace Dress in size 3x because it is the signature style I love to wear for parties. The detail in the lace adds a classic vintage feel to the dress. The A-line silhouette is flattering on my body and it doesn’t cling to the problem areas. It’s just so flattering.

Fun Fact: I actually purchased the Aurora Lace Wedding Dress for my wedding, which is the same silhouette as the Luna Lace Dress. I felt stunning on my wedding day.
